Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Please be reminded that your front yard lamp post MUST remain turned on all night tonight (regardless of your participation in passing out candy).  It is a safety hazard and a violation of the governing documents.    If you are not participating in trick-or-treating, please turn your porch light off only.

GFL Trash Containers

Just a friendly reminder all GFL/Shiffletts trash containers MUST be placed curbside (on front sidewalk) tomorrow evening, December 29, 2022 for Thursday, December 30, 2022 pickup.  Trash containers do not need to be emptied for pickup.    American Hauling WILL NOT start until January 3, 2023.  If you are putting trash in the new containers, it will not be collected until after the new year by the new company.

New Trash Services

Villages of Salem Station is happy to announce the switching of trash contractors from GFL/Shifflett's to American Hauling. Please have your GFL/Shifflett's trash container(s) curbside (in the front yard) on Friday, December 30, 2022.  IF YOUR CONTAINER(S) ARE NOT CURBSIDE, GFL WILL BE CHARGING YOU (THE LOT OWNER) A $75.00 FEE.  New, American Hauling trash containers will be delivered between Saturday, December 31, 2022 and Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  Trash pickup will remain in the rear of the townhouse and will remain on Tuesdays and Fridays.

  • Mowing Services for 2021?

    Unless otherwise requested all front lawns and common areas are mowed by Shenandoah Landscaping. If you wish to be placed on the NO MOW List, please contact management.

    Keep in mind spraying for weeds happens weekly. This can include cracks, sidewalks, mulch beds, and turf areas.

  • Pet Etiquette

    It shall be strictly prohibited for the owner of any animal to knowingly or willingly allow such animal to urinate or defecate on any public property or on the property of another.

    No dog, other than (1) law enforcement or search and rescue activity dogs; (2) a supervised, formal obedience training class or show dogs; (3) formally organized and sanctioned field trial dogs (set forth by VA DGIF), shall be allowed to run at large.

  • Snow Policy

    It is the residents responsibility to shovel snow on their lead way and in front of their townhouse.

    The HOA will hire a plow company to relocate snow (not remove) after 2 inches of accumulation. No chemicals will be dispersed without prior approval of the current sitting BOD.

  • Trash Service?

    Trash collection is every Tuesday and Friday (weather permitting). Trash must be stored inside the provided GFL (formally known as Shifflett’s) trash container and placed inside the fenced backyard on non-pickup days. Trash is only collected from the rear of the townhouse.

    Trash must be out for service no later than 6AM on the day of pickup and no sooner than 5PM the night before

  • What are the pool hours?

    The community pool opens the weekend of Memorial Day and closes the weekend of Labor Day.

    Pool Hours:
    Holidays: 10 AM to 7 PM
    Regular Season Days: 11 AM to 7 PM
    School Season: 4 PM to 7 PM

  • What happens if I don't pay my assessment?

    The association depends on the ownership to make payments in a timely manner to operate effectively. Non-payment of association assessments will result in collection actions and the association may rely on legal counsel to facilitate those collection efforts.
