As a reminder - please be caution of your surroundings.  Villages of Salem Station was once swamp lands and is still a nesting ground for snakes.  The county has posted signs in the woods along the perimeter in certain areas of high threat of copperheads.

Copperheads like to hide in piles of wood; for your safety it is not recommended to leave piles of wood on your porch or near doors.

Please understand that the HOA has been told NOT to disturb this area or relocate the snakes as they are considered "protected animal".
